Privacy Policy
How we handle the personal data of those who visit our site and contact us, under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).
Last updated: July 2026
1. Data controller
The data controller is Puglialma SRLS, Via Trinitapoli Mare 30, Puglia (Italy) — VAT 09194330727.
To exercise your rights or for any question about your data, write to info@puglialmaexport.com. No Data Protection Officer (DPO) has been appointed, as the legal conditions do not apply.
2. What data we collect
Data you voluntarily provide through our forms (contact, partner request, supplier application): name and surname, email, phone, company name, role, VAT number, website, country, business information and the content of your message. In the supplier form you may list the names of files you intend to share: the files are NOT uploaded to our server.
Browsing data: if you consent to analytics cookies, we collect aggregate statistics about site usage through Google Analytics 4 (page views, referral, device type, approximate location). Without your consent this data is not collected and no request is sent to Google.
Technical server logs (IP address, date and time of the request, user agent), needed for the operation and security of the site and kept only as long as necessary.
We do not collect special categories of data (Art. 9 GDPR) and we do not carry out profiling for advertising purposes.
3. Purposes and legal basis
Answering your requests and evaluating commercial collaborations — legal basis: pre-contractual measures taken at your request (Art. 6.1.b GDPR).
Site usage statistics — legal basis: your consent (Art. 6.1.a GDPR), freely withdrawable at any time from the Cookie Policy.
Site security and legal compliance — legal basis: the controller's legitimate interest in protecting the service (Art. 6.1.f) and legal obligations (Art. 6.1.c).
4. Is providing data mandatory?
Providing the data marked as required in the forms is necessary for us to follow up on your request: without it we cannot get back to you. Providing any other data is optional. Consent to analytics cookies is entirely optional and refusing it does not limit your use of the site in any way.
5. How long we keep your data
Requests sent through the forms are kept for as long as needed to handle them and, in case of a commercial relationship, for its duration and the legally required period afterwards (normally 10 years for accounting and tax obligations). Requests that do not lead to any relationship are deleted within 24 months.
Google Analytics statistical data is retained according to the property settings (usually 14 months).
6. Who we share data with
Data may be processed, as data processors, by suppliers providing us services: our hosting provider (Hostinger), the streaming service for the homepage video (Bunny.net) and — only with your consent and for statistics only — Google Ireland Ltd.
Your data is never sold or transferred to third parties for marketing purposes.
7. Transfers outside the European Union
The use of Google Analytics may involve a transfer of data to the United States, based on the safeguards of the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission. If you do not consent to analytics cookies, no data is sent to Google.
8. Your rights
At any time you may exercise the rights under Art. 15-22 GDPR: access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection, and data portability. You may also withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.
To exercise your rights, write to info@puglialmaexport.com. If you believe the processing infringes the law, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority.
9. Automated decision-making
We do not use automated decision-making or profiling producing legal effects on the data subject.
10. Security
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data: encrypted connection (HTTPS), admin area protected by a hashed password, login attempt limiting and controls on form submissions.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy; the date at the top of the page shows the last revision. For details about cookies see the Cookie Policy.
